Focus LCDs

Think of the buttons on a microwave. These are switches that you depress and they pop back out when you move your finger. They are built for many, many uses before they wear out. Also, they have a protective covering over them to reduce contamination from liquids and air borne contaminants.

Is it better for a LCD to have a touch panel or momentary push buttons?
