What is the best type of display for a medical product used outdoors?
Monochrome displays are single color and although most can’t display video, they are built with a reflective or transflective polarizer that is excellent in direct sunlight. A reflective polarizer is best in bright lights and a sidelight can be added to night time operation.
Also, monochrome draws less current (good for battery products).
