Can a segmented LCD with SPI interface use pins?

Is it possible to use pins as the connection point when ordering a custom segment LCD with SPI interface? Or is there a better way to connect it?

Yes, it is possible to use pins instead of a FPC cable for a segment LCD using a spi interface, but not recommend. We suggest the fpc cable.
