How can I increase the brightness of a LED backlight?
There are a few ways to do this.
1. Change the polarizer to a transmissive polarizer. Transmissive allows the most light to pass from the backlight. The downside is that it is difficult to read in direct sunlight.
2. Increase the current to the LEDs by reducing the value of the resistor. The lower the resistor value, the brighter the backlight, but also the shorts the lifetime of the LED backlight
