Can the pcb on a Character LCD be modified?
I need the pcb for <https://focuslcds.com/product/16x2-stn- ... sw6wn55pab> character LCD to be modified to add resistors to generate heat. Is this possible? how much?

Yes, it is possible to modify the shape of a PCB on a COB LCD. COB means chip on board which means there is a PCB attached to the LCD glass.
There is a small tooling fee, maybe $400 one time fee, to change the shape and dimensions of the PCB.
