What is a more common resistive Touch panel. 4 wire or 5?
Re: What is more common 4 or 5 wire rtp?
There are several different types of resistive touch panel (RTP). The most common is four wire. If you need greater accuracy, then go to five wire.
Four wire is the default for most monochrome displays and TFTs.
The advantages of resistive touch screen are that is can be activated by any object from the tip of a credit card, to a finger to a pencil eraser. Also, RTP is less expensive than capacitive and easier to program.
