drill a hole in the LCD

Is it possible to drill a hole in the PCB of the LCD? Will it damage it?

It is not recommended to drill holes in the PCB attached to the back of the LCD. The PCBs are multilayer and contain traces
https://focuslcds.com/journals/to-drill ... -displays/ on the other layers. Cutting or nicking a track could disable the LCD or make it prone to failure later due to high humidity. If you need holes in the PCB, have the PCB custom built and attached the LCD.
