What is a Pixel as used in a TFT? Is it better to have more pixes or less?

TFTs (Thin Film Transistors) are multi-colored display modules that range in size from 1.4” to 10.4” (They come much larger than that, but we stop at 10.4”)

A TFT is made up of pixels that are the smallest unit of illumination in a display. If a display as 1024x768 resolution, then it has 1024 pixes across (in the X-direction) and 768 pixes up and down (Y- direction) for a total of 786,432 pixes.
